The BC Wildfire Service says crews do not expect major growth on the Brunswick complex in the short term because of favourable weather. The complex includes the Ainslie Creek wildfire, which has burned about 30,000 hectares east of the Fraser Canyon, and the 7,400-hectare Brunswick Creek wildfire to the west. The merged wildfire is part of the Brunswick Complex, which also includes the 7,400-hectare Brunswick Creek fire, burning west of the Fraser Canyon. Evacuation orders and alerts remain in place due to the Brunswick wildfire complex.
