The Central Okanagan Food Bank has received a retired delivery truck from Purolator, part of a national donation that saw 14 trucks distributed to food banks across Canada. The truck will boost the local food bank's capacity to collect, transport and distribute food throughout the region. With the latest round of donations, Purolator has now given 33 retired delivery trucks to food banks across the country. “This donated truck will become a vital part of our daily operations and support our ability to expand services as community needs continue to grow,” said Trevor Moss, executive director, Central Okanagan Food Bank.
