Highway 97C is closed in both directions near Ashcroft due to a vehicle incident Wednesday evening. According to DriveBC, the highway is closed between Kirkland Ranch Road and Empter Frontage Road. Photos of the incident shared with Castanet show a vehicle tipped over onto its side on the roadway south of Ashcroft. Highway 97C is also closed to the southeast, just west of Logan Lake, due to a wildfire discovered earlier Wednesday afternoon.
