In the Mount Kenya and central regions, counties such as Nyandarua, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang'a and Kiambu are expected to experience a mix of cloudy and sunny conditions, with light showers forecast over a few places in the afternoon. Nyandarua recorded the lowest minimum temperature forecast in the country at 7°C, while areas such as Mandera and Turkana are expected to register highs of up to 36°C. Several other stations, including Kisii, St Johns Nyamwaga and Lower Kuja, recorded more moderate rainfall amounts.
