The £1 piece of kit that will transform any guitarist, according to Keith RichardsAs one of the most famous guitarists in the world, people have dissected and analysed all of the different facets that make up the musical identity of Keith Richards, with many attempting to copy his distinctive style.
But aside from this, what sets Richards apart from the blues players whose work he was raised on and consistently tried to emulate, or is he simply a carbon copy who got lucky?
Richards duly responded, claiming that he told the former Beatle that “it’s bad for posture,” while noting that this appeared to be a Liverpool-specific style that many others from the city also used.
“I can never understand that whole thing about playing the guitar up so high,” he continued.
