Srinagar, Jul 29: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference General Secretary and Khanyar MLA Ali Mohammad Sagar, along with Hazratbal MLA Salman Ali Sagar, on Wednesday inaugurated the first Ayush Satellite OPD at Gojwara, Khanyar. Officials said trained staff and necessary facilities have been made available at the OPD to ensure accessible healthcare services for the local population. On the occasion, Ali Mohammad Sagar announced funds from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for procurement of an ambulance and medical equipment for the facility. Both leaders expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Health and Medical Education Minister Sakina Itoo for supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening healthcare services in Downtown Srinagar. The local residents welcomed the opening of the facility, saying it would provide much-needed healthcare support closer to their homes, particularly for people requiring immediate medical attention.
