Srinagar, July 29: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Wednesday mourned the demise of its Office Secretary, Muhammad Saleem Khan, who passed away after a brief spell of illness, leaving the party rank and file in deep grief. His demise was widely mourned by party leaders, workers and well-wishers, who remembered him as a soft-spoken, humble and committed organiser. The Congress leaders paid rich tributes to the departed leader and expressed profound grief over his passing. Speaking on the occasion, JKPCC president Tariq Hameed Karra described Saleem Khan as a devoted party functionary whose commitment and sincerity had earned him the respect and affection of colleagues across the organisation. Several Congress workers and supporters who attended the funeral remembered Muhammad Saleem Khan as a sincere party worker who worked tirelessly behind the scenes and maintained cordial relations with leaders and workers alike.
