Ganderbal, Jul 29: Under the banner of Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS)-2026, Central University of Kashmir (CUK) celebrated six years of the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020, at the Tulmulla Campus here Wednesday. Associate Prof. Deptt of Mathematics and Coordinator, NEP-2020, Dr. Haribhau Bhapkar, highlighted the University's sustained efforts towards effective implementation of the policy. Earlier, in his address, Dean Students' Welfare, Dr. Jehirul Islam, underscored the transformative impact of NEP-2020 in reshaping India's higher education landscape. “The policy has redefined education by promoting multidisciplinary learning, flexibility, innovation, inclusivity and holistic student development.” Youth Welfare Officer, Dr. Firdous Ahmad Sofal, Youth Welfare Officer conducted the programme proceedings and highlighted the constitutional values, ethical responsibilities and democratic ideals embedded in NEP-2020.
