LeBron James reportedly chose to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers after communicating this summer with last season's leading Sixers scorer. Tyrese Maxey "led the charge" in the Sixers' recruitment of James, Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul said on Wednesday's episode of The Ringer's Game Over with Max Kellerman and Rich Paul. James ultimately decided to join the Sixers on a two-year, $8 million contract with a player option. Maxey and James were photographed training together shortly after the 76ers officially announced the deal. Paul, who represents both James and Maxey, said on Wednesday's podcast he feels Maxey is a good personality match for James.
