Draymond Green's new contract with the Golden State Warriors reportedly will not include a no-trade clause. Notably, Slater pointed out Golden State does not plan on moving Green but still could thanks to the absence of a no-trade clause. Yet Davis remains with the Washington Wizards and James ultimately chose the Philadelphia 76ers in free agency. Slater reported the Warriors planned on giving Green a longer deal if James did decide to sign with them but stuck to the one-year contract when the King went elsewhere. If they do, perhaps the veteran-laden team will have enough overall talent to challenge for a deep run in the Western Conference playoffs.
