The Kansas City Chiefs are rostering the fastest player in EA Sports' Madden NFL for a second straight season. Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy is the only player with a 99 speed rating at launch of the upcoming NFL 27. Worthy set an NFL scouting combine record by running a 4.21-second 40-yard dash in 2024. He received a 98 speed rating in Madden NFL 25, then was bumped up to 99 in Madden NFL 26. Two Detroit Lions wide receivers earned a 98 speed rating at launch of NFL 27 in Jahmyr Gibbs and Jameson Williams.
