BIRMINGHAM City Council has told the Standard the Second City authority has no intention of taking over, governing or ‘consuming Bromsgrove’, contrary to claims being made. Speaking to the Standard, a Birmingham City Council spokesperson rubbished the claims. He cited decisions taken by Worcestershire County Council – in Worcester – not always being the best for Bromsgrove. He claimed the BREP scheme which has led to more than a year of roadworks, had been ‘inflicted on Bromsgrove by Worcestershire County Council’.
