The artwork, painted on the pub’s gable end, shows a glowing orange sunset over farmland, complete with a working tractor pulling a plough. A vintage red tractor is parked in front of the mural. Manager Steve Golding said the artwork has attracted lots of positive comments from regulars and passers-by and believes it gives the Wotton Road pub a distinctive identity. The Plough micropub opened in 2019 in the former Plough Inn, a fixture of village life since the late 19th century. Revived as a community-focused micropub, it offers local beers and ciders, and features two open fireplaces and a covered outdoor seating area.
