LTO-PNP HPG Arrest 2 Alleged Fixers During Entrapment OperationTwo alleged fixers involved in illegal fixing activities were arrested during an entrapment operation conducted by LTO and PNP-HPG. The Land Transportation Office with the assistance of the Philippine National Police–Highway Patrol Group conducted an entrapment operation leading the arrested of the suspects. Acting on the complaint, the LTO coordinated with the PNP-HPG to verify the information and prepare an entrapment operation. Investigators are now gathering more evidence to determine the full extent of the alleged illegal activities and whether other individuals may have been involved. LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Markus L. Lacanilao personally faced the arrested suspects after the operation.
