For a long time, we’ve been hearing about Apple’s plans to unveil a MacBook Pro with an OLED screen. As per a report in GSM Arena originally attributed to a South Korean publication called The Elec, Samsung Display is expected to become the exclusive supplier of OLED panels for Apple’s upcoming MacBook Pro models. Earlier rumours had also suggested that both Samsung Display and LG Display were competing to supply OLED panels for the upcoming laptops. The report also says that Samsung is expected to manufacture around 2.5 million OLED display panels for the upcoming MacBook lineup. Apart from having an OLED screen, the upcoming MacBook Pro is also expected to support touch input, marking another significant change for Apple’s laptop lineup.
