WESTON, W.Va. — Governor Morrisey held a flood recovery press event in Weston Wednesday, where he praised the speed of the effort to date but yet urged residents in the flood zone to have patience.
Adjutant General, West Virginia Joint Forces Headquarters, James Seward thanked the employers and families of the soldiers as the cleanup and recovery mission continues.
“I want to thank their employers and their families,” Seward said.
“Right now in Upshur and Lewis we need volunteers; we need construction volunteers to help in a lot of different ways.
The governor had strong words for anyone who might plan to come to the area to take advantage of the flood victims.
