The family who lost their home in the devastating Gżira fire earlier this week will be provided with temporary accommodation through the Housing Authority, Minister for Accommodation and Lands Owen Bonnici has announced.
In a statement, Bonnici said the government immediately began working to identify the family’s needs following the blaze.
“With the help of the Housing Authority, we identified the needs of the family affected, who lost their home,” he said.
He confirmed that the government will be assisting the family with the temporary accommodation they require, describing the move as part of its commitment to support people facing difficult circumstances.
