Two teenagers are dead following an early-morning shooting in Hamilton's Stoney Creek area, police said Wednesday. Abdulmalek Shibli, 18, was one of two young people who died in the Stoney Creek shooting, Hamilton Police Service said. Investigators believe the shooting may have been "retaliation for an earlier disturbance involving bear spray at a residence in Hamilton's east end," Ebert said. He said the bear spray incident took place around midnight near Barton Street East and Centennial Parkway North. He did not say how the shooting victims were involved.
