The Wonewok Resort & Conference Center got the nod from the Hubbard County Planning Commission. In the hopes of operating as a year-round, luxury executive retreat, Billion Real Estate Holdings LLC applied for a commercial planned unit conditional use permit (CUP). According to ESO, there is roughly 6,480 feet of shoreline on Big Mantrap Lake and 4,530 feet of shoreline on Petit Lake. Wonewok has five existing docks on Big Mantrap Lake and two on Petit Lake. On Monday, July 27, the planning commission unanimously recommended approval of the CUP to the Hubbard County Board.
