Deep Lake Park made more strides toward becoming an official, 439-acre county park. The Hubbard County Parks and Recreation Department applied for a conditional use permit to operate Deep Lake Park as a park. Hubbard County Land Commissioner Cory Kimball got permission to remove small elm, birch and shrugs behind the retaining wall. ADVERTISEMENTThe ESO staff report explained that there wasn’t an established OHW for Deep Lake Park. This conditional use permit (CUP) is for the operation of the entire premises as one county park.
