Located near the main entrance of the Douglas County Fair, it’s anticipated that the new facility will be in operation in time for the next skating season. That design will allow heavy traffic onto County Road 22 to move more quickly through the intersection, according to Douglas County Highway Engineer Dave Robley. They will be operational before the start of this year’s Douglas County Fair (which opens August 16).
