ALEXANDRIA — United Way Lakes and Prairie is excited to announce that registration is now open for its Stuff the Bus program, helping local children and families get ready for a successful school year.
Going back to school should be a time of excitement and anticipation — not worry about having the supplies needed to learn and succeed.
Through Stuff the Bus, United Way Lakes and Prairie helps ensure children in our community start the school year with confidence, equipped with a backpack and essential school supplies.
ADVERTISEMENTOver the years, Stuff the Bus has helped more than 15,000 local children prepare for the classroom.
This year, thousands of dollars will be invested in backpacks and school supplies, and community support remains critical to meeting the growing need.
