In Eagle County, recycling is often described as a simple choice: rinse the bottle, flatten the box, find the right bin. Walking Mountains began looking more closely at these barriers through its U.S. Environmental Protection Agency-funded Inclusive Community-Based Recycling Project, launched in October 2023.
