Big Bear bald eagle Jackie is continuing to receive care for her injuries after getting in a fight with two other eagles, but the wildlife rehabilitation center caring for her said she’s now out of the intensive care unit. WATCH HERE WATCH HEREDespite the beloved bird exiting the ICU, the wildlife center said she “remains a very sick patient and continues to require intensive treatment and monitoring.” Meanwhile, Shadow, Jackie’s mate, has continued staying at the couple’s nest amid Jackie’s absence. The pair’s two eaglets, Luna and Sandy, may have left the nest to begin their own journey, Friends of Big Bear Valley (FOBBV) said. As for Jackie, she’ll continue to receive care from the Ojai Raptor Center and be released in Big Bear near her nest once she is healthy enough.
