Worcestershire on Demand is included in the scheme, allowing children and young people to travel for free on the on-demand bus service throughout August. Worcestershire on Demand is a flexible bus service that can be booked through an app, making it easier for residents to travel in areas where fixed-route bus services are limited. Children aged 11 to 15 travelling independently can access free travel by going to the concessions menu and switching on the ‘Under 16 Free Travel Offer (August 26)’ option. Residents are encouraged to check with individual bus operators before travelling, as participation in the national scheme is voluntary.
