Warrendale Wagyu, based near Pocklington in East Yorkshire, received a three-star award at the 2024 Great Taste Awards—run by the Guild of Fine Food—for its British Wagyu brisket. Tom Richardson, managing director at Warrendale Wagyu, said: "We are thrilled to have won this award that reinforces our goal to produce Britain’s best tasting beef. Warrendale Wagyu will find out if it has secured a Golden Fork in September. The success follows last year, when Warrendale received one-star honours for both its Wagyu Brisket and Wagyu Flat Iron Steak. The Great Taste judging panel is made up of more than 500 experts, including chefs, buyers, critics and food writers.
