Classes are launching under the babyballet franchise, led by former primary school teacher Jasmin, who moved to York from Brighton several years ago and recently completed her training to become the programme’s newest franchisee. "There has been so much to learn and take in, but it's been fascinating to finally understand the ins and outs of running a babyballet franchise." Classes will launch from September in locations including Staynor Hall Community Centre in Selby, Easingwold Scout Centre and Wigginton Recreation Hall in York. Designed for children aged six months to six years, the sessions aim to help young children express themselves, develop friendships and build self-esteem through dance. A three-week introductory trial can be booked for £22.50 via the babyballet website, with weekly classes priced at £7.50.
