The Yorkshire Music Future Fund (YMFF) has teamed up with Future Talent to expand its reach and create more opportunities for aspiring musicians.
Dr Gillham said: "Yorkshire Music Future Fund’s trustees are delighted to partner with Future Talent — which has strong Yorkshire roots through its founder, the Duchess of Kent.
"But we believe much more can be achieved through Future Talent, as a national charity with an outstanding reputation for nurturing young musical talent."
Future Talent was founded in 2004 by the late Duchess of Kent and Nicholas Robinson OBE to help remove financial barriers for gifted young musicians.
The partnership will allow Future Talent to support more young people across the region and develop existing YMFF relationships.
