Signs have been displayed in the windows of O’Neill’s, in Low Ousegate, stating the bar is currently closed for works including replacing outside signs and inside renovations. City of York Council officers stated the changes had been deemed acceptable after a barrel sign and other features were dropped from the plans. New booths, an accessible toilet and changes to the bar area were also included in the plans.
