A commercial building housing three businesses has been destroyed following a fire. On July 29, 2026, Catoosa County Fire Department firefighters were on the scene of a fire that destroyed a commercial building with three businesses, according to the Catoosa County Government. They say callers to Catoosa County E-911 reported the fire at about 1:30 p.m. on Stubby Lane. City of East Ridge Fire Rescue and the Georgia Department Of Corrections Fire Services GDC 9 provided mutual aid on the scene. The cause is under investigation.
