Cars continue to get stuck on Central Avenue in Albany due to flooding. ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT)- An Albany Uber driver said fast-rising floodwater on Central Avenue trapped him in his car and forced him and a passenger to climb out a window Wednesday, July 29. The car belongs to Shane Febus of Albany, and it was towed away later in the afternoon. Febus said they first called for a tow truck, but the driver who arrived said the water was too deep.
