In June 2026, nearly 1.9 million guests spent 4.3 million tourism nights at tourist (commercial, private and other) accommodation establishments. Tourist arrivals were down by 2.2% and tourism nights down by 2.5% in number compared to a year earlier. The number of domestic tourist arrivals and domestic tourism nights was 2.6% and 3.6% lower respectively than in the same month of the previous year. The 982 thousand domestic guests spent nearly 2.2 million tourism nights at tourist accommodation establishments, within which commercial accommodation establishments registered 695 thousand tourist arrivals and 1.5 million tourism nights. A total of 30,215 tourist accommodation establishments, within which 2,880 commercial and 27,335 private or other accommodation establishments welcomed guests.
