Months after winning a defamation lawsuit, Grammy-nominated rapper Afroman is now suing one of the deputies who sued him. No charges were filed and Afroman then used his own security footage to make viral diss-track music videos mocking the deputies. Seven deputies then filed a defamation lawsuit, seeking nearly $4 million in damages. He’s now seeking damages under four claims: malicious prosecution, abuse of process, intentional infliction of emotional distress and tortious interference with contract. He’s seeking damages of at least $25,000 per claim, plus attorney’s fees, lost income, emotional distress damages and punitive damages, with a jury trial demanded.
