Update on traffic light at busy Taunton junction after power outage

Traffic lights at one of Taunton's busiest junctions were restored on Wednesday morning after a fault affected the Creech Castle junction.
Somerset Council confirmed that the junction and its operating systems were back up and running by 10:36am, following reports that the traffic signals had stopped working.
The Creech Castle junction is a key route linking traffic between Taunton, the A38 and the nearby M5 motorway.

The Creech Castle junction is one of the main gateways into Taunton and regularly carries large volumes of commuter, local and motorway-bound traffic.
