Dennis Coath, who lives and works in Dunster, has published The Band That Time Forgave, the second in his trilogy about the geriatric rock band The Dogs. The first instalment, The Band That Time Forgot, was published in 2024, with the final book, The Band That Turned Back Time, set to be released later this year. Mr Coath began writing the trilogy after studying for an MA in history at Bristol University in his 70s. BBC Films described it as a "dynamic project," while BNN America noted that he had "turned heads with his latest book." The grin is only just subsiding," while Nick Owen from the BBC said he "really laughed out loud."
