Three stolen cars have been recovered and two suspects arrested after a series of burglaries in Cotgrave. Having established the burglaries could be linked, Nottinghamshire Police officers conducted further inquiries that led to two of the stolen cars being located near Leeds, around an hour later. The two drivers – a 19-year-old man and a 22-year-old man – were detained at the scene, while the owners of the stolen vehicles were informed their cars had been found. “Having heard three vehicles had been stolen during car key burglaries across Cotgrave, we were quickly able to pinpoint the location of two of them up north, near Leeds. “This information was then passed onto our colleagues in West Yorkshire, who did a great job bringing the stolen cars to a halt and arresting two suspects, following a lengthy pursuit.
