Pok Sun Min Brown, age 79, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Western State Nursing Facility of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 12:00 PM on Friday July 31, 2026, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Pastor Bandon Boone officiating and burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements. Pok Sun was born in Seoul, Korea, on July 12, 1947, the daughter of the late Duk Gi Min and Hong Choi. Survivors include her sons, Song (Valerie) Brown of Adams, TN, Ricky (Angela) Brown of Herndon, KY; her brother of Korea; her ten grandchildren, Song (Jaclyn) Brown II, Nicole (Jesse) Hood, Harley (Kevin) Latham, Shane (Kallen) Brown, Brittany (Caleb) Jones, Christopher (Natalie) Brown, Josiah Brown, Caleb (Cathrine) Brown, Jonathan (Trinity Havens) Brown, and Isaiah Brown; and her twenty great grandchildren, Eliana, Song III, Owen, Gabe, Solomon, Melody, and James Brown, David, Felicity, Ivy, and Eden Hood, Myles, Kinlee, and Harper Lathem, Keegan McKendrick, Sutton and Avery Brown, Tobias and Adele Brown, and Evelyn Brown.
