The Retreat in Ledbury's High Street closed on June 27, after landlord and landlady, Tracey and Steve Powell, called last orders after 19 months at the helm. Now, owners Stonegate have put the wet-led pub back up for rent, with an annual rent listed at £30,000, along with a minimum ingoing cost of over £8,000. Stonegate say the pub, once known as the Bulls Head, has a well-equipped kitchen, an "attractive" beer garden, and a spacious single trading area. The pub also comes with private accommodation, comprising four bedrooms. According to Stonegate, the pub has a forecast turnover per year of over £474,000.
