The Black Sabbath guitarist's new record is due out in OctoberTony Iommi, founding guitarist of Black Sabbath, is to release his first solo album in 21 years. Iommi co-wrote the record with Norwegian metal singer Jørn Lande, and co-produced it with frequent collaborator Mike Exeter. Queen’s Brian May also turns up for a guest guitar solo on the track ‘Death Wake’. In a statement, Iommi said: ““It’s an album we’ve really enjoyed making. BMG will release From The Dark on 23 October 2026.
