Nevada Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar cut the ribbon Monday on a new business licensing office in downtown Las Vegas, giving entrepreneurs another location to handle state filings without leaving the city center. "The Secretary of State's Office is the first stop for business in Nevada, and it's our job to be accessible and help business owners succeed, not get in their way. With our new one-stop shop in downtown Las Vegas alongside the City, Vegas Chamber and other resources, business owners can save valuable time and money that can go right back into growing their business,” said Secretary Aguilar. The office sits inside the City of Las Vegas' Civic Center Plaza, placing it alongside the city's own business licensing services and the Vegas Chamber. For entrepreneurs launching companies in downtown Las Vegas, the arrangement means state-level tasks, such as LLC formation, and local requirements can be addressed within the same complex.
