The incident, involving an Audi and a Toyota Corolla took place at the junction of Old Chester Road, Kings Lane and Rock Lane West at around 12.30pm. Merseyside Police say the drivers were treated for 'minor injuries' at the scene. The road had been closed while the incident was dealt with the vehicles were removed but has now reopened, according to reports on social media.
