"Once conditions clear up and local authorities give the green light, ferry operations will gradually return to normal," Arief said. Arief stated that vehicle buildup at Ketapang Port remains manageable, though the nearby Bulusan buffer zone has begun filling up, leading to congestion along the main access road. "However, there are no long queues within the port area itself, while at Gilimanuk Port, vehicle queues are still contained in the port maneuvering area," he added. "ASDP is also preparing additional vessels to accelerate queue clearance as soon as weather conditions normalize and shipping is declared safe," he said.
