In a meeting attended by four prisoners from each of the four halls of Unit 2 on strike, this delegation attempted to convince them to end the hunger strike by sowing division among them. They also committed to re-examining the cases of all death-row prisoners in this unit within six months. The striking prisoners emphasized that they remain fully vigilant and prepared to resume their strike if the henchmen, as always, attempt to violate these agreements. The Iranian Resistance, while congratulating the striking prisoners, emphasizes that this brilliant victory once again demonstrated that the only response to the machinery of suppression and execution of religious fascism is decisiveness and steadfastness. The Iranian Resistance also once again calls on the international community to support the demands of the prisoners and to take immediate action to save the lives of death-row prisoners in various prisons across Iran.
