Jablonski was paralyzed in 2011 after being hit from behind in a high school hockey game. The 14th annual BEL13VE Golf Tournament this week raised money for paralysis research in honor of Jack Jablonski, who has become a dynamic force in raising awareness of the need for more research. He says new therapies continue to change the lives of people living with paralysis. He says research not only leads to “gaining of mobility, but also, most important, independence.” Jack Jablonski was injured in a high school hockey game in 2011 and has been raising money and awareness of the need for spinal cord research ever since.
