One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Isanti County on Wednesday. At around 11:30 a.m., Isanti County officials responded to a crash between a van and SUV at Highway 95 Northeast and Vickers Street Northeast in Cambridge Township. The Minnesota State Patrol said the van, a 2019 Ram ProMaster, was going east on the highway to turn onto Vickers Street when it was rear-ended by the SUV, a 2004 Ford Explorer. One person was extricated from each vehicle, and the driver of the SUV, 46-year-old Joseph Daniel Decheine of Cambridge was pronounced dead at the scene. The state patrol says that Decheine was not wearing a seatbelt.
