The Miami Marlins will celebrate the remarkable career and lasting legacy of longtime broadcaster Tommy Hutton during Thank You Tommy Day on Sunday, August 23, when the club hosts the Washington Nationals at 1:40 p.m. at loanDepot Park. The day will recognize his extraordinary contributions to the organization and the South Florida community as he wraps up his final season in the booth. The celebration will begin with an on-field pre-game recognition featuring a tribute video highlighting some of Hutton’s most memorable moments and signature calls. Hutton joined the organization during its inaugural World Series championship season in 1997 and has spent 28 seasons covering the franchise, including 23 on television. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to be in their seats for the pregame ceremony and help celebrate one of the most influential figures in Marlins history.
