Zimbabwe and Russia will use next month’s Intergovernmental Commission meeting in Victoria Falls to expand trade and investment. Their discussions centred on strengthening bilateral relations while boosting economic cooperation between the two nations. Russia seeks greater economic investmentAlthough political relations remain strong, Ambassador Berdnikov acknowledged that economic cooperation still needs significant growth. He said: “We discussed the present state of our political cooperation and economic as well. What is lacking is our economic investment and financial cooperation, and we are looking forward to having it as much extended as possible.”
