White’s championship success in his native New Zealand earned him a three-round campaign in the #9 Garth Walden Racing Toyota GR Supra alongside Daniel Frougas. Frougas put the pair 15th on the grid for Race 1, from which they charged forward during the one-hour race. Toyota Gazoo Racing New Zealand motorsport manager Nicholas Caillol noted Toyota’s Young Driver Academy, where Supra GT4 pilots globally are eligible for the development pathway. “[The academy] creates opportunities for drivers driving GR Supra GT4 EVO2s to be evaluated for future GT3 drives. With White now set to depart GT4 Australia, Frougas will be joined for Round 5 at Sydney Motorsport Park in September by NZ GR86 runner-up Zach Blincoe for a single-round cameo.
