The cameras were rolling at Wells beach last Friday (July 24). The Holkham Estate, through Norfolk Locations, manages filming in the area. Parallel Productions once used Wells beach to shoot scenes for the ITV series Kingdom, starring Stephen Fry. More recently, neighbouring Holkham beach was used to film segments for the Marvel film Deadpool & Wolverine, which grossed more than £50m in the UK. A spokesman for the North Norfolk District Council said: "North Norfolk is a fantastic, film-friendly place to bring your production, big or small - there are locations, skilled crew, suppliers and lots of businesses ready to support the film sector.
