Alex Jenkinson, 39, is accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear or provoke unlawful violence against the former Duke of York. The former prince is expected to give evidence via video link at the trial. The alleged incident took place in Wolferton, on the Sandringham Estate, while Andrew was walking his dogs near his property, Marsh Farm. Jenkinson is currently on conditional bail and is not allowed near several royal residences including Sandringham, Buckingham Palace, Balmoral, Windsor and Highgrove. He is also prohibited from entering Norfolk or making direct or indirect contact with Andrew.
